Course Information
The VTCT Level 2 Award in Foot Care is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in providing foot care treatments which aim to improve the condition and appearance of the nails and skin.
You will learn about the condition of the skin and nails on the feet. You will learn how to use paraffin wax, thermal boots and other pedicure equipment, as well as classical massage techniques for the foot and leg. You will also learn about the contra-indications to foot care treatments, as well as the physiological benefits of the treatment.
The purpose of this qualification is develop your skills in beauty therapy and foot care and will provide you with the foundation for further learning.
