Rain, the driving force behind Rain’s Beauty Salon, started her inspiring journey in the beauty industry back in 2000. She’s our go-to beauty guru, and here’s a little peek into her world.
Rain grew up in Jamaica, where she joined the workforce from a young age. Her beauty journey began some years later after having spent a lot of time in beauty salons with family members and becoming fascinated with it, eventually investing in a beauty course herself to join the industry!
After six months of hard work, Rain became a nail tech pro. Her first gig was at a salon in Montego Bay. But guess what? That was just the beginning! One day, with encouragement from her clients, Rain entered a competition to work on a cruise ship called “Carnival Cruise Line.” And guess what? She won! That led her to England, where her beauty adventure continued.
Rain eventually decided to stay in England, and she built her career across London and Birmingham. But her dream was bigger – to have her own salon. In 2017, Rain’s Beauty Salon opened its doors in Luton, and it quickly became the place to be.
Rain is all about creating connections. Every visit is a chance to make you feel welcome and fantastic. She loves her team and clients so much that they’ve become like family. They celebrate birthdays, festive seasons, and just about anything that calls for a good time.
